I'm a white girl with medium-bodied, curly hair (3B if that resonates with you) and I've found that just a little of this in combination with Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter, 4 oz. does absolute wonders for my hair!! I'm a recent convert to the Curly Girl no shampoo method, and I've replaced my silicone-based hair products with natural ones from Carol's Daughter. I am shocked that these products actually hold my hair and keep it from disintegrating into a fluffy, puffy, gross mess. Not only that, but they're so light that my hair curled tighter and shrunk shorter than it ever has before--it's a full two inches shorter now than it was 24 hours ago. Amazing! If you have fine or straight hair, these products will likely be too much for you. And you really only need the tiniest bit, despite how much other crap you've had to slather on in the past to get hair that looks half as good as it will after you try this. I add it to my hair when it is damp out of the shower and let it air dry. I love my hair now!! It's so soft and shiny, and it smells delicious!

Since I am transitioning (from a perm)back to my natural hair state, I decided to try out Carol's Daughter products versus Jane Carter products. Before you think I am just slamming Carol's Daughter, I want you to know that I gave Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla a number of tries before disliking it. The Black Vanilla left my hair even more thick -- once I washed it! I followed the HOW To Steps on the Carol's Daughter website and even tried some the YOUTUBE fans idea but the Black Vanilla just makes my Hair even more thick. I will never use the shampoo's, conditioner, nor the leave in conditioner again!!!! However, I will keep using the Hair Butter for daily use, the Khoret Amen Hair Oil for my skin, and the Elixir for hot oil treatments and rinse it (Elixir) out with VO5 deep conditioning. So far I am liking Jane Carter products? It makes my hair manageable and after I blow dry the hair, I don't even have to flat iron my hair if I don't want to because it's straight! I just hate that I have bought all of these Carol's Daughter products and cannot exchange them. I guess I will just donate them to someone.

This pomade by far is the best hair product I've ever tried in my entire life and i'm not just exaggerating. I have natural curly thin hair that tends to get frizzy a lot! I've used everything from mousse's, gels, sprays, other curly/antifrizz creams and nothing tames my hair the way this does. You don't even have to re-apply it. It'll leave your hair super soft, shiny and with no frizzies. And it smells great! If you do need to re-apply, you can re-apply as many times as you want and it won't get greasy. I hope this product never discontinues cause I have found the solution to my hair. It's awesome awesome awesome! It's for all kinds of hair by the way. Whether you have straight wavy hair, coarse hair, natural curly hair or processed hair, it works for everyone!

I love this stuff!
It moisturizes my hair and made it extremely soft. I flat twisted my hair and placed it on my hair and I loved the results! I was afraid of trying out Carol's Daughter at first because I didn't hear good things about it. This stuff is wonderful and I am actually excited about trying more CD products. It smells like pomade but its a light moisturizer with NO water. It kept my hair from getting frizzy and puffy. I like the fact that I have something now to moisturize my hair just in case I want to straighten it. Thanks Amazon!!
