Sensative But Works Well July 27, 2010 Carmen Collins For the Cost, Can't be beat. Suggestion, Do not get the unit wet and try to charge, it will break. I keep my unit charging in my bedroom and I take just the machine in to the bathroom and than I make for sure that the metal is completely dry before charging again. Why pay over a $100.00 more for another brand unit unless you just like spending more of your money so you can name drop, if you know what I mean. But, Of course. Whatever you choose Have Fun...
Should have saved my pennies... July 24, 2010 Tammy G. Although I think this facial brush would work well for those who do not have sensitive skin or problems with cystic acne ( I get them on my chin), I'm less than thrilled with this brush. Had I researched it a little better rather than going off the advice from my derm., I would have determined that due to this brush having ONE stlye of brush head and the fact that a more firm brissle will irritate my acne, I could have waited a bit longer and applied what I actually spent on this to a Clairsonic Mia. Again, this brush is good bang for your buck...but you need to know what works for your skin.
On a side note...I advise you to follow the instructions...you need to charge it for 24 hours and don't put it back on the cradle unless it's (the cradle) unplugged. If you place it in the cradle to charge after every use, you will greatly diminish the longevity of your brush. I charged mine once...for 24 hours and still, after a month of daily use, I don't need to charge it. This should be a no brainer, but I read the reviews and well, I felt the need to chime in on this particular issue. IF you place the brush back on the UNPLUGGED cradle, you must make sure that the entire brush handle is bone DRY and the brush is NOT dripping wet or you will find yourself with a rust problem - which will further cause issue with charging your brush in the future.
Pretika SonicDermabrasion Facial Brush July 23, 2010 DJSFO (San Francisco, Ca.) I thought it would rotate as well as sonic. But it is Sonic only. I feel the unit is a bit large and should be a bit smaller for all the curves of the face.
not so much July 23, 2010 Betti (Ringwood, NJ United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have to say I rarely write a review but feel the need here. I absolutely loved the Pretika Facial Brush and used it religiously until it stopped working around 2 months after I purchased it...just does not hold a charge at all. I wish I had thought of returning it while I still could but too much time has passed...oh well. For a product I initially loved I am very disappointed and will not purchase again.
A fine product July 13, 2010 skincare 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Clarisonic was too expensive for me. The Pretika facial brush does everything it promises. The head is large enough to use on my rough knees and elbows, leaving them smooth. It has helped reduce the lines on my neck and hyperpigmentation on my chest.
