I just ran out and bought one today on my lunch break because I was stressing out about the unicorn sprouting out of my forehead right between my eyebrows. Also I felt another deep on one my chin, and I was so aggravated with this constant cycle of zits and healing. I felt like everyone was looking and it and I couldn't take it any more!
I recently switched birth controls (Yaz to Mirena IUD) and my old bc used to be great for keeping my skin really clear for years. Now with my new bc method, my skin is back to its troublesome self and I had to get a handle on it.
I have cystic zits, the painful swollen red ones that explode and destroy your skin if you pop them. I can cover it well with makeup but being bare-faced in front of a guy? Stressful and embarrassing.
I didn't want to wait and try some wash or cream or whatever, so I bucked up the $40 and got it. I was in and out of Target so fast no one had a chance to see my forehead horn. I used it right away because I didn't even want to go back to work with that lump on my head. It had its own shadow!
2 minutes later and I looked in the mirror--Wow! Immediate difference. It had reduced down to almost nothing and felt so much better. The pain was gone! I can't believe it can even heal that quickly. It doesn't seem possible. It was still red and tender but I could put some light makeup over it and look a little more normal.
I plan on using it again later tonight and hopefully be done with these mountains by tomorrow or the next day.
I'm glad there's a somewhat-affordable option from the classic style Zenos (which I didn't even know about) and these disposable ones last for 80 uses, which if you think about it is $.50 per use/zit--really not that bad if you put it into that perspective.
I'd like to buy the classic Zeno one day and only pay for cartridges when they run out.
Really though, I went from anxious and stressed to feeling much better all within an hour.
To anyone who wants to not wear makeup or hide your face with a hair part, give Zeno a try. It's worth the bucks.

I've been a spa owner for 11+ years and I carry the older rechargeable Zeno in my spa, as well as the newer Hotspot Model. My clients have different needs and some prefer the older rechargeable version, but others prefer to use the Hotspot because of the convenience of using just plain regular batteries. Regardless, both work very efficiently on pimples. It is not an instant process, but when you follow the instructions it takes care of the pimple gradually through heat. Most of my clients rave about the fact that their pimple has disappeared within a day or less (without picking). I did have 1 return, but it turned out that the client had some other sort of skin condition. Again, I'm all for any natural skin alternatives...especially when they work so well and appeal to any budget. I will continue to carry it in my spa, as my clients truly love it.

I guess I expected some majic... It takes some dedication and patience. Results will not be as dramatic as what you may think. I won't be getting another.

Just like printer ink cartridges that stop working after 100 pages are printed, Zeno kills the unit after 80 uses even though it runs off regular AA batteries. That way you're forced to buy another unit. I suspect their claim is that "it's for your own safety because the unit might malfunction and burn you after 80 uses" but we all know that's BS (I'm an electrical engineer and know there are ways to make a heating element and thermostat more reliable).

After only ~5 uses it broke on me...I've opened an ticket with them.
